Thanks for the positive comments everyone. Here is a little more on the Jetta.
Here's what we just finished up. Also we peeled the hood due to a couple imperfections.
But bumper, roof and passenger front door done.
So, since the Jetta is still not driveable . . . I picked up a new daily.
2003 20th Anniversary Edition GTI No. 0229
She needs a little love, but the carfax was amazing! Dealer maintained every 4,000 miles all of its life up to 118k where it is now.
I spent my weekend that I had set aside to work on the Jetta, working on the GTI
She's looking real good now after the detail and purring real nice after the tune up and Stage 2 Eurodyne flash

Looking good, shame about the clutch issue. Could just be an install issue, happened on my mates Evo 9

and a Bay shot
So the shop that I was building in has closed its doors for good. I got the car all back together and unfortunately, it wont go into gear.
I went to VW and got a new Slave cylinder and a new bleeder valve. I bench bled the slave and then power bled the system and still wont go into gear.
I called clutchmasters and they want me to pull the trans again and bring them my flywheel, clutch disk and pressure plate so they can bench test them and find out exactly what's wrong.
The problem is, I have 0 motivation to pull the transmission so I started doing something that will hopefully get me feeling like I want to drive the car again.

Here's an update. It was started on my birthday and it idled beautifully.
Started fitting the piping.
He some trouble getting the Passenger side to fit. Nothing a little cutting and grinding cant fix.
Fits!
Then this
Still have to trim the bumper a tad to help the fitment. That Eurojet core is BIG

OMG I let this die..... I keep doing that and I apologize.
Here is a much needed update
As you probably know, I'm on air and as you probably don't know, my trunk setup was a disaster.
We fixed the wiring rats nest and slowly fixed everything that was done wrong.
We also relocated the battery to the trunk.
Got my stubbies installed, and I'm proud of them.
Something that I love about being a car enthusiast is that I can install something that isnt at all relative to getting my broken car running and still be totally stoked LOL\
Putting in some work in the bay with my good friend Chris
Sitting in it made me very sad
While I was in there I set up the pillar pod and got it set how I wanted it... unfortunately I didnt take a photo.
The build is actually almost done. My Birthday is on Friday (April 22nd) and its projected finish date is the 23rd.
I pulled off the fenders and had my friend Ryan shave off the sidemarkers.
Then put in some hours this weekend with Chris.
This is where we left off.
I hope the next time I update it will be running and I will be happy again!
