    So I guess an update is in order.

    I purchased a full o2m swap and and got it done in a little over 2 days.

    for those of you who don't know VW Transmission codes. Thats a 5 speed to 6 speed swap.



    Also picked up a GLI Cluster and steering wheel. Need VagTacho still to pull the SKC

    I actually have an extension cord running through the sunroof, then I closed the sunroof on it and ran it through to the trunk where I plug it in with a power inverter.

    I can't speak for him but the wreath on the front of my mk5 is battery powered, and when I had regular christmas lights on the roof rack of my old Volvo, I just used a cheapo ciggy lighter to AC power converter and ran the wire through the passenger side door.
