Man, I've always longed for mesh wheels that style. Your truck is looking great. C notch and drop leaves are what I'm on, and with air shocks I still retain quite a lot of load capacity, and the ride is stiff. I slide it spin 'em all that shit. But likewise, the ultimate plan is coilovers.

Ok so for any one who actually cares or that hasn't heard, My trans went Sunday night. The last few days have been spent making phone calls and searching for one. I found a few for like $600 but I currently don't have $600. I make money to build my truck by selling my surf and skate inspired art that I make. I was banking on an art show I had last week to secure money for my rear notch and some moar low. The show was a bust due to it being farther from the shore then I would prefer. Anyway the day after the show, feeling a little down, BOOM goes the trans.
I had gotten a message that someone from the car community that Im friends with on FB. He had said s10 that he had scrapped a few years back, but he still had the freshly rebuilt trans in his garage. All I had to do is drive like an hour or so up to Bristol PA and snag it!!!!!!!
So last night we loaded up and headed out to go get it I decided to hit the new Franklin Paines skate park in Philly for a few hours on the way. Awesome park if you ever get the chance to go.
So right now its sitting in my garage next to wheel spacers and my new wheels all waiting to get put on.
Did I mention I also finished painting a polishing the wheels? LOLLast edited by LOCALTHIRTEEN; 09-11-2013, 02:35 PM.

H20.
H20 this year wont be like it was for me last year with my mk3. That car was sick and I knew it. It was everything I wanted it to be. Everyone in the mk3 community knew the car and me and had seen it come up.
When I sold it I knew I was stepping out of that and giving up a piece of that life.
I feel like with the truck I now have something to prove. I wouldn't call this a comeback because I never actually left.......
This years H20 is super important to me after being gone for a whole year. Its been a whole year with out seeing all my car friends and Im looking forward to seeing all the new people Ive meet through stance works.
Im looking forward to showing people its not the type of car you drive its simply the style you have when you build it.

So after a tons of hard work we got the freebie used trans in. Drives fine but sounds like Im supercharged. Which sounds great but can only mean more issues. Looking into rebuilding the junk one but have no idea how long I will have on this trans before it pops. Im guessing it will pop at h20. (insert yolo song here)
Side note is the truck is looking great on the new wheel set up. The do need to come out .25" more and I need to go lower but for now I need to get it running solid again. Then back to the fun.

So the freshly rebuilt trans wasn't actually rebuilt?
It reminds me of my old S10. I loved that truck. I put 50k miles on it over 3 years, and the only problems I had were the alternator went out, the battery died shortly after, the cat clogged up, and the trans went out at 190k. I sold it with 203k miles on it, and I have regretted it ever since.
