Man i like the way it sits on bumpstops :P looks better tucking tire on this car imo. Just get the tires to sit almost on the guard lip.

    Thanks!
I mainly got 18's in hopes that it would tuck tire more easily. That, and 17's looked a tad small imo.

    Yes.

    Thanks! ^_^

Currently back on stock suspension. In the process of fixing my seized coilovers and figuring out how to go lower.

Gosh my car feels like a 4x4 now. haha

In the meantime, I'll probably be trading/selling the AutoCouture wheels in favor of a slightly less aggressive set up. Keep an eye out for a For Sale thread soon. haha

Removed the rear springs from my car to see how much lower it would go.
Needless to say, I was fairly disappointed...

It's a nice drop compared to before, but I'm barely even tucking tire.
Gotta figure out how I can get my car lower before I dump money on bags or something of the sort. Apparently, shorter springs aren't going to cut it since the complete absence of springs won't even tuck much tire...

Oh well. I'll figure out something...

    Haha right?
Already got the adapters if you missed it.
I wouldn't be able to mount the wheels otherwise... lol

I am pretty tempted to bag it since I like practicality, but we shall see...

    btw, nice avatar.
Still need to catch up on the manga. Sorta stopped after the anime ended... :/

It will probably require a decent amount of work. Granted I only had 2 of those wheels on in the unedited photo, but my coilovers in that image are almost all the way down. (actually, my rears are all the way down with the perches removed.)
The 18x10's also poke quite a bit, so I'll have to find some camber shims, and maybe stretch some skinnier tires for better fitment. (It currently has 235/40's. I'll probably go down to 225/40, maybe even match the fronts with 215/40 if I'm feeling silly enough.)

That will most likely be the case since this car is my daily. I already scrape my exhaust and rubber lip on stuff at this current height. (and I've been stuck in a dip once before.. Granted, I do have an electric cutout that sticks out pretty far, but still...) Really stinks since my car doesn't even look that low.

Old geos and aveos were daewoo kaloses with chevy badges.

Interestingly enough I've heard that these are probably the (relativeley) best cars in chevy's lineup.
I don't mind the styling either and I love those wheels
Actually, this car shares its platform with the Chevy Cruze, the Chevy Volt (which is based off of the Cruze), and some random Opel or Vauxhall or something. lol
Cobalts were discontinued a while back.

Sonics and Cruzes have many similarities, from the same engine options (1.8 N/A or 1.4 Turbo in the States) to the same crappy bolt pattern (5x105).

It's funny because I used to only be into JDM Import cars. Never would've thought that I'd be driving a Chevy. haha (And yes, unlike its predecessors, the Sonic is actually mostly made in the U.S, so it can truly be called a Domestic. lol)

It's boosted, and gets 40+ MPG. Can't really complain.
