Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments, this is my dream car and its finally coming to life, it's an awesome feeling to have come so far with it..some people can do all this and more in the first week, but i can guarantee they can't appreciate it like i can.

Everyone wanted me to get wider wheels, and though i agree that would be awesome, i feel I've made these look great on the car

And if anyone is interested in the LEDs, eBay sells long strips of it in 8ft for $15, just cut it to your desired length and hook it up to the brake light feed

Thanks, I currently only plan to modify the exhaust and intake, I'll mostly be leaving the engine stock otherwise..car is mostly for looks, hell i cant even use it to its current potential because of the current drop haha

Hey fellas, little update here , I took my wheels apart and went white, and finally took pics of my tsx projector retrofit, and my custom 3rd brake light..enjoy.

Sharp at a distance, thanks to some proper lense and shield spacing

    Nice color

I need to seal the bottom of the LED strip so that it doesn't cast light into the interior

Thanks man i deffinately still want to get the facelift style tails, this was just a temporary fix to remove the amber in the rear because i **** it...

As for where to get 40mm spacers, well from my hours upon hours research, you can't...

You can't?? What?? Well then how did you do it??

Haha well i stacked two 20mm spacers, then the only way to safely fasten them was to buy 70mm wheel studs from ecs (only place i found that sold them) the spacers themselves are from eBay, i got them at a steal, brand new set of 4 20mm spacers for 80$ shipped.

Technically theres a place that can custom make any spacer at any thickness, i just didnt have the money to dish out for the custom work..
I've got a 97, and had the same issue. I came across these for $65 and bought em. they are the best reps i've seen, they even have the four celis bars whereas other companies like depo only have 4.

they leak, but if you re-seal them, it takes care of that issue.

heres my thread on them if you are interested: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...s-pictures-etc

yeah, the "place that can make them at any thickness" wants $140 for two 40mm spacers, +25 s/h. I can't justify spending $83 per spacer lol. I need 40mm too, thanks for the info.

and about memory fab making the style 5s a 3 piece, theyre cra..lol
they quoted me 500 for each wheel plus 80 each center to be machined, so they fit. and i dont thing that was including the centers, so you have to get those yourself.

car looks nice, hows the ride with those new spacers?
Thanks for the info! Nice to have a solid answer on pricing, anyways i took a trip to Los Angeles and back which is nearly 500miles round trip, i havent noticed any issues, and zero vibration. I got quality spacers that aren't made of soft metal that can compress upon tightening lugs, resulting in an uneven spacer
