There are big plans for the car this winter. Will only get 2-3 weeks to work on the car before I have to fly back to Tuscaloosa Alabama. Hoping to get a lot done and lots of parts installed. Will be working getting the engine bay cleaned up and lay the framework for the future. Also get some steelies modified and put under the car.

Hello everyone,
I have been working over the past few months on a new project of mine. Neue Motorsports. The name comes from the 2002 being dubbed the "Neue Klasse". The idea is teaming up with 2002 owners and E30 owners to bring their products to the world.
Currently many of them depend on threads to sell all of their products and don't get much exposure past that. I decided I would sell their products in addition to my own. Personally I am working on OEM upgrades for the 2002 such as wood trunk boards. Currently I have had some stickers designed and will be starting with that. I have already teamed up with people such as the Heist, Raceskids and Fuzz Fabrics for the site. The website will fully launch at the end of the month with around 10-15 different products for the 2002 and E30.
As of right now I am having a pre-order for two stickers. The first one may offend a lot of you (even myself as I own a square tail) but people wanted it. The second one is a remake of a popular decal.

If anyone has suggestions or is interested in working together please let me know!
Thanks.

No photos yet. A bar will most likely welded in.Originally posted by 99sil-teg View PostAny pictures on how you are mounting the radiator since that support is gone? Also did you have to stiffen up the front any?
Got the interior back in today and the car is back on the ground.
Going to be running more camber upfront. Also will be lowering it a bunch more. Fender will be pulled and rolled.
Got the Momo installed. The interior looks great

Finally made progress today. We got a lot done and is what was holding up the rest of the swap.
Pulled out subframe
Jacked up car
Fought the subframe and the engine for 1 1/2 but finally got everything bolted in place
Made cuts to the front tray
End up with this
Final result
Will be making more progess as the car needs to be done around August 10th so I can drive to Alabama.

An update for everyone. I have decided to team up with some other 2002 guys and have created a website to sell 2002, e21, e28 and e30 parts. I will be making trunk boards and center consoles for the 2002. The name is Neue Motorsports. The website will go fully live around the start of next month. Bookmark it for now

Today I received a Getrag 242 which should be the solution to all the problems I am having.
One of the things for Neue Motorsports will be powder coating parts. If you have M10, M20 valve covers and intakes you want done you will be able to send in your core and have it done.
Did this today:
Will know by the end of the weekend if this transmission will work.

I am hesistent because the car is in good condition besides the passenger floor pan. If I end up having to cut to get it to work I will do that. If I can avoid it I will.

That's weird because people run the G260 all the time, I'm wondering if it's because you're using Manimal's mounts. He mentions that it pushes the engine back farther to allow more room for a radiator, but that also means it's pushing the trans back into the tunnel more as well, which would require more room for the large bell housing. I've heard you have to cut the tunnel in order to fit the G260, and that it's pretty tight with the pedal box, but it's doable. Are you more just hesitant to cut the tunnel because it's a nice car or because there's no way it would work with the pedal box in stock location?

I have come to a crossroads with my build now. I can either continue to cut out sheet metal or try and find the Getrag 245 that was in the euro 323 e21. I am opting for the 2nd because the condition of my car is pretty good. No reason to mess up a clean car. Worst comes worst I can always cut more.
The issue I am having is the bellhousing area and the pedal box area of the transmission tunnel. Not sure if I have to move the pedal box but it may have to be if I continue with the Getrag 260. While tearing apart my car I discovered my passenger side floor pan is rusted out. Going to weld in a new pan so I don't have to mess with this at a later date.
Another update, I am working on starting my own company to sell 2002 and e30 parts. It will be similar to the Heist's Tailored Supply Co but my own spin. I am currently working with some other individuals to carry their products in addition. My focus is going to be center consoles and trunk boards to start with. More info on that in the coming weeks.
Now for some photos.
How the Manimal Mounts arrived
Brought them into work and sand blasted them
Wet black powder
Picked up this Stahl header. Debating on selling in this condition or powder coating and ceramic coat
Floor pan is gone
Engine attached to the subframe but with the tranny on I can't get the subframe back in place

You can see I thoroughly beat this section of the tunnel
