welp. finally got a new set of wheels!!

17x9.5 +16 with 205/45/17 tires. all the way around.
needs some fender work, but they should look AMAZING when they get fitted. =]
they came off of my buddies car. he just picked it up a few days ago.
just in case you are curious, yes, the jetta will be as low as the gti is.. just need a few other items to work out first. the gti is on air, and the jetta is literally just as low as it.
but, these wheels/tires raised the car up about 1" from where it was, so we will see.

welp. they are finally on. headed out today to get him some new tires. these tires are WAY too tall... its going from a 205/45 to a 205/40 all the way around. with these tires, it raised the car about 10ish mm all the way around. smaller tires will let us bring it down a little bit more!
ill let the pictures talk. ha.
