So in the last couple of days I received my new weber 32/36 and I installed it in the next couple days, found out that one of my plug wires was completely rusted and was barely firing, so I bought a new cap, rotor, and wire set. And now the car runs way better!!!
Brand new, right out of the box, came with a filter, and everything needed for the swap, just $250

Sidedrafts off and ready for the new intake

How it looks right before I got it running

    Without the filter

With the filter, it kinda surprised me that it actually fit, it looked like the filter would be too tall

Wow! This is a really neat car, I've never seen one before. I bet it took forever to strip all that paint off. I just did the hood on my car and it took like 2 hours! I may have missed it, did you clearcoat the car to keep it from rusting?

Why would you go from side draft 40's to a 32/36?..

Unfortunately, it decided to rain a couple days ago, so I have some surface rust, but it can be sanded lightly. And the main reason I went from sidedrafts to a 32/36 was because they need rebuilds and I just need some better mileage for the next year or so before I buy another car

So, I got back to working on it and I was able to sand all of it back down to metal, and I was able to get a hold of some rare Hoshino Impul's sized 15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the back

They're too big for my taste, but they are beautiful wheels.

Needs to be lower to pull off those impuls. If this had paint and the twin 40's back on it would be amazing but it is still very sweet.

You should take a cup wire wheel and just swirl the entire car like th Spirit of St. Louis.

lolWUT?! wheels would be ideal in 14", but beggars can't be choosers, just turn the coils down. 32/36 downgrade fail, however, what did you do with the side drafts? rebuild them and put them back where they belong or sell them to me now.

Car looks great man!! Why swap from the Webers though?? Can't get it to run right?

If you want to sell the setup cheap, let me know! Would make a great fit on my new LZ22

I plan on putting the 40's back on once they are rebuilt and then flaring the rear end to get to fit better so I can go lower, its just kind of a pain in the ass because of the way the fender is made
