Thanks guys Yeah everyone needs cruise control. The original mk2 system is very smooth. Didn't really expect it to be that good when I installed it.

Thought i'd pull the mk2 out and wash it at the same time I was doing the mini. Cleaned up very nice. Got very dusty sat in my unit.

Also took the digifiz clocks out to have the odometer corrected to what the car should actually be. Was quite a bit higher and getting a bit close to the limit. Took the circuit board out and just sent that off to be safe.

Thanks, yeah I've read that. I know the guy actually. Only lives a few miles away. People were always getting our cars confused. Thats why I made him break it. lol

Following this on the OC, missing updates though, still looks spot on.

Thanks. Its stuff called fly eye tint. Basically just perforated black vinyl. It worked surprisingly well and doesn't really affect the light output that I have noticed.

Spent the last 2 hours reading this build . I feel like your doing exactly what I would do , I **** "modern" things on older 80's cars , any vintage era car really. The time and effort spent in both finding and installing all the parts + building oem style things is spectacular. Im in love with your old Passat , This car , and any car for that matter that you have touched. simply breathtaking man. Looking forward to seeing more progress

Thanks guys. it means a lot.

I would say just standard engine with a flashed on remap figures, so about 200hp and 220 lbft with the K03 turbo. Which is the turbo fitted standard on this engine. And the same spec as the passat turbo I bought.
Or if get a K03s passat/a4 turbo which is quite likely it should be around 220-230hp and 230ish lbft
The K03s just has a slightly bigger compressor if I remember correctly.
