      Micro update

Got rid of the ugly amber on my tail lights and ordered some clear turn signals. Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic...I will post some proper ones once everything is fitted

        Do work!

Any plans with the engine so far? Maybe you should throw in a 2 liter, or wrx swap it >

haha i wish. Right now it has a 1835cc engine with a engle cam, merged headers, and a progressive weber. This gives me some decent power. In the future I do plan on fitting twin weber 40 ida carbs, but that will come after i try and source some wider rims.

            Mini Update

So the new turn signal lenses came in today. Really like how much cleaner they make the front of my car look. In a few days i should be receiving my new steering wheel(nothing special).

Looks great! I may have missed it somewhere, but are you getting smaller tires for the rear?

I wish you could ditch that front & rear bumper for something smaller.

Thanks! Maybe maybe not it really depends. I have my fenders rolled in the rear so some part of me wants to see how low i can go with these tires, but i most likely ending up getting some thinner and smaller sidewalled tires.

Yeah me too...late 70s bugs have it the worst when it comes to bumpers and lights, wish they would have kept using the less obnoxious ones they had on early 70s models.
