update
Have not been on in awhile...Not much has changed with the car except i got a beefier bent sway bar to get some more clearance. Enjoy some decent photos i snagged from a meet a few weeks ago

Beetles don't like being photographed, methinks. Yours gets more rake, and my friend's looks taller. He only has 2" of ground clearance and no rake, but his always looks taller in photos.Comment

He had something break in his front end and his sway bar is pretty much touching all the time now. It's kinda sketchy.Comment

yeah when i drove it on the freeway to come home i thought i was going to die.My sway bar caught on everything there is. i would definitely recommend getting the bugpack one for lowered front ends...much more clearance and it can take a beatingOriginally posted by Stance is a Dance.
