Since the FC uses 5x120 rear lug pattern I've already thought ahead and chose my specs to work with this obstacle. I decided to go 1/2" more backspacing on the fronts and 1" more backspacing on the rears to accomodate a 1" adapter and have a similar outer spec

Current FC Specs:
Front: 17x9.5 -19 235/40 4" lip 4" BS
Rear: 18x11 -25 265/35 5.5" lip 4.5" BS
Specs for the s13:
Front: 18x9.5 -6 225/35 3.5" lip 4.5" BS
Rear: 18x11 +0 235/40 4.5" lip 5.5" BS
For the rears, I can run slip on spacers to fit the fenders, and remove/add to accomodate different tires/sizes. Ultimately I'd like to run ~15mm worth of spacers with extended arp lug studs
For the rear I plan on running a 235/40 18 because
1. this isnt going to be a competition car so I dont need a ton of grip
2. 235/40s are cheap
3. I dont want to put a ton of excess load on the stock small diff/axles/cv's
4. The car doesnt have a ton of power to require a big tire
5. The rear subframe has been raised to aid in forward bite combatting my low ride height

I want to go with 18's up front for several reasons:
1. I dislike 17/18 stagger on s13's
2. 18" will require a less negative offset to clear the inner suspension, and with the -6 offset I can run a 5mm slip on spacer to clear the z32 calipers
3. I wanted a 225 front tire which isnt available unless i go to a 45 series sidewall on 17s
4. 18" front will look lower
I plan on running a 225/35 Federal 595SS or 225/35 Falken FK452 up front. Good stretch but nothing too crazy...
