  • Hoarder In The Court!

I never ended up posting any pictures of my S12 which was sold earlier this year so I thought I'd take a dump now.

If you want to get in the mood for the next 5mins press play

So after having the S12 for a while and gathering bits and pieces I sold the Touring

This is how I got the old girl

    First mod was lazy

Picked up a set of these <3

Over the time after buying the car and selling the BMW I was gathering

    Wheel from some 4x4

and this shifter I hacked up using mountain bike handle bars

    Winter came

Got some mint fishnets which I've always wanted, also never used

Pulled the oem air intake and put a filter in

Scored these Wolfrace Slots and start refurbing only to find the first couple were the best and the pitting was just unbearable doing it by hand so I sold them

At this point I had already found some lowering springs for the car but decided I wanted to get decent coils that would really get the car to where I wanted it, which was on the ground. So after measuring over and over I talked to Jesus and he blessed me with a set of these S13 badboys mixed with some other parts from murica.

Just wanted to say the service I recieved couldn't be faulted and the coils were amazing. Jesus is lord.

So then it was search time for the S13/S14 parts needed to convert to use the fuckers. I picked these things up.

I then found the brakes were having a few clearance issues on my 14's, mainly on the back of the wheel centres.

I knew spacers wouldn't be an option due to the longer S13 LCA's and my calculations for where the wheel would sit soo after some massaging...

With all the parts hanging around and more to come I realised my "garage" needed a clean up.

Awesome. A clean s12 is a rare site. Makes me miss mine. Also awhile back I think you asked for a photo with the fenders. I found one but they are not finished in it. Sold the car before I got a chance to finish them.

Then I finished polishing up the Starsharks and up put paper all over the back closet, paint booth!

        They came out like this

        Then we moved house

All the crap in the outside storage cupboard finally had somewhere to go

        Cleaned enough

So the missus went away for a week and I took the oportunity to take over our lounge with all my spare wheels, parts and greasy stuff so I could get the car into my new shoe box.

After finally getting everything off and fresh things back on I started to test fit wheels to see if my calcs were right. Yep.

Cheers Montgomery! I was gutted when you stopped posting up about that

...So I had a problem. Not wanting to run a thinner tyre size because I planned to widen the wheels in the future and worked out these would be perfect on there I got to work with a roller. I worked on it slowly, trying to keep the arch lip as vertical as possible I think I did well.

          and then

The front fitment of upgraded parts gave me so much shit I was happy, after re-arranging the rear shocks for the car, to find only a massage was needed.

          Then it was out

          My boy doing work

          Next day drive time!

Started driving it to work to see what needed to be done...brakes was one thing that never really worked well :/ But it felt nice and was lower

Got my front lip back on

Threw the wheels on and lowered it some more

            Did some more of this

Tried to take some pictures but my potatoe didn't want to play

                Tried again

                My little helper again

More night shot efforts but potatoe

Took the plate off and added a rear spoiler

I planned to polish the rear wheels so just rushed the black lip thing and it suffered but I still liked it

Yeah sadly. I lacked the space, money and motivation at the end so it had to go

Over this time I had a couple of other dailys which are sold aswell

                            E32 over winter

                            E36

                            Spot the lows

By then I definitely had a thing for the S chassis so now I have this to tinker with and can't wait to start
