Great work man, she looks fantastic. Nothing like 80s Japanese cars to spin my propeller. I guess I know what I'm gonna buy next...

Yeah, not much stance going on at the meet, but plenty of cool guys and well cared for cars. Most of the guys couldn't believe I drove my car down there at all. Lol, only scraped twiceI appreciate the compliments guys. Hopefully next weekend I will have some more progress photos of some fender work.

Hows the 4ag treating you? I could stand a 4ag in an 86, but how well does it do in an aw11, does it feel a bit sluggish?
I've been looking at these on CL, and the 4ag seems a bit underpowered and supercharged ones are crazy expensive.
Just looking at options for a next car.

It's ok. I get about 30-32 mpg combined, and this past trip to jersey I got 38 all hwy. That helps a lot. It's revvy, so if you don't mind winding it out it can be fun. Honestly though, I am looking at either turbo'ing this one or swapping in a 20v 4age blacktop motor. It's not quite enough for me, about 140-150 horse would be a better match to the chassis, powerwise.'13 Fiat 500 Abarth

Check out technotoy, they have lots of great parts there. The 20v's are waaaaay overrated. 4ag's make their power up at the top end, and a smallport 4ag can easily achieve around 160 at the crank with the right mods. It may not revv as high without mad modification, but the 16v's seem to feel a bit more torquey.
Lightweight pulleys, flywheel, big bore throttle body, cams, bolt ons, and mild tune will make you more than happy with the little 4ag. The only thing 20v's are good for IMO are good gas mileage.
Sorry for my rant. I love 4a's.
Have you heard of the 2zzge swap? When they hit lift, it is orgasmic. Also, you can use the solid lifters from the echo engine on the 4ag 16v
