My Motorsport Hardware Stud conversion kit came in yesterday. I'm stoked since I no longer have to deal with the hassle of wheel bolts at the track. The quality is excellent and they're TUV approved.

I guess you do hahaha. Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words. It's going to undergo a bit of a transformation in the next two months, so I hope you still like it after that haha.Originally posted by rsingh3g View PostSWEET! I get a birthday present from you
I love this car and the weird thing is I don't even look at BMWs that much

Nothing much going on lately, although I did Plasti Dip my front lip since it had taken a beating at the track.

And here is a shot from the last track day

Thank you!Originally posted by HighwayStarKG View PostThis thread is great. I can definitely appreciate that the car is eye candy that puts in work. Every race car is a show car in my opinion.
The paint is pretty nice, but it has a lot of imperfections. The camera and lighting make it look much nicer than it is.Originally posted by Miles. View PostShes a beaut, is the lighting giving the paint that finish or is it that clean?
Thanks!Originally posted by getamongst-it View Posthuuuge savings with that battery. awesome and congrats on the win
You just wait until November. Super Lap Battle gives me more freedom in the Aero department.Originally posted by rsingh3g View PostStill looking beautiful, but you know what's missing lol

Since that WSIR event I managed to win Round 5 of Redline Time Attack at Buttonwillow. I managed to beat the class record in qualifying/practice, but the weather was terrible and couldn't do it in competition. It's a good sign, because the car should be about a second faster in ideal conditions.

I took a bit of a break towards the end of July since I spent the three months prior working on this car most days of the week. There are a few more things that are going to be worked on to get the car ready for the rest of the Redline Time Attack season and Super Lap Battle.
Yesterday I picked up a Mirai battery from Yimi Sport. This is going to be a big source of weight savings since it weighs in at only 2.75lbs vs the 40-50lbs of the factory battery.

After that I'll be doing a couple of things to the interior to try and cut some weight.

Ah ok I didnt know there was rules for the events. I will check your 911 build as well.
Do you have any idea how much weight you saved with the exhaust set up you have now over the oem piece?
