Okay so I looked closely at the underside not sure how you drive around with less than an inch because the bottom of the control arms are lower than the oil pan and I have roughly 2-3" max at the bottom of my controll arms with about 4" to the pan. Or have your 16 yr old daughter drive a newer car, with air bags and actual crumple zones. I'm not saying an e28 isn't safe, they are, but wouldn't you have more peace of mind knowing that if she does destroy a car (which she will, because 16 yr old), she's got the most protection possible?

Oh I agree entirely... She should not have a lowered car at all. Buuuut... Not that my personal business is really important or anyone cares.... How it was supposed to go is... She was suppose to get a brand new car from her mother (we ar not together) which my child support was to cover the payments. Her mother then decided to renig on her offer... I don't have the money to buy her a new car (because most my money goes to child support and bills) to which I am not complaining. What she uses that money for is her business. But I would have been happy to not do this to the car had I known the route in which it was going to go. That being said, she can drive our Ford Flex, if she chooses OR her mothers brand new Lexus (oh thats' right, I pay for that too...) But I'm not bitter. Either way... This is as low as I go... OR worst case I raise it back up to factory... I only pay child support 2 more years then I can buy her a car. That would make for a great graduation gift I think.
