In to see what comes out of this. As for the wheels, not bad. At least they aren't BBS. Different is good.

Nicest thing anyone has said so far. But atleast they're honest. Seriously, I wanted something (the wheels) that just stands out and makes people go WTF... The car is a POS really. Like I stated before. It's too bad off to restore and not bad enough to junk.

I bolted one up, they look huge on the car. I'm lowering the rear tonight (if all goes well) and I will put a couple on and drop it down on blocks to check clearance. But it looks like I may need spacers in the rear. We'll see.

I get most you think I should go with something more retro but to be honest you put them up next to some damn BBS rims and there isn't a huge difference.

And someone asked what kind they are. CHEAP AS FUCK that's what they are. I like em' they're staying for now. How bout' a little encouragement for a new guy?

I was wondering the brand man....

Also I have a hunch they would look a lot classier if you got rid of the black and painted them all silver

Two coils cut only gets you that low? No wonder people say cut them in half!

Just curious as to why it took you 30 minutes on one coil and 2 hours on the other? I've heard to people using a dremel with a cut off wheel. Takes longer but still accomplishes the same goal.

It's lower than it looks in the pics. And the second took that long cuz I couldn't get it back in... I figured out why after the fact... A day later. Let's just say... You know what never mind. It was stupid...

Anyway the rear is now lowered as well didn't take long at all. The hardest part was getting the shocks off. Nothing a large hammer couldn't fix.
Cut two full coils on each. I cannot wait to get tires now.

And the reason I'll leave the black on is because, 1) the car will be black 2) it makes the polished part stand out more and 3) I like it.

            Thanks for the input.

                +1

The style is fine, but painted silver would be a good improvement IMO.

A few changes since I last posted. I replaced the intank fuel pump and the drivers side front fender was rotted through at the bottome. Found a new fender on ebay for $62.00 shipped! I figured for that price I'd take a chance. Turns out it's not too bad!

Then the other night driving a friend home, I went to pulloff the road and there was a nasty drop off I didn't see. A bit of a thump and scraping, didn't think anything of it at the time. Next morning got up went to the gym no issues. Got home and sitting in the driveway I noticed th car sitting lower on the passenger side. Well, the coil spring broke one full coil. Oh well... I like the result. I jacked up the car and cut the spring an equal amount on the other side.
