Black interior looks much better. I like the material you used on the door inserts and center console too, adds a personal touch.

thanks man, tried to find a fabric tha would match the seats. i think it worked well.

How did you go about remounting the door inserts? I know they are plastic welded from the factory.

Also, what kind of dye did you use for the center console? Have any closer pictures of it next tot he other black parts for comparison?

the dye is called landau black by sem. its an exact color match for the eg black interior. cant even tell.

also on the door panels i just replaced the drilled out plastic rivets with screws

Heres a quick update.

the car came with navy blue interior that shit is ugly... (didnt come with the wheel or the seats fyi)



I bought black oem carpet and door panels. and i had a black dash laying around from my other project.



Started tearing into it. Car used to be an automatic by the way. (god that was an annoying swap)



seats out.





Pulled the dash and replaced the carpet!



Black dash back in. Removed the auto cluster and replaced it with a manual cluster. Look closely i pulled the cluster apart and hand painted the needles red



Pulled the door panels apart and recovered them and the arm rest.



got a hold of a jdm eg6 center console for close to nothing.... only problem was it was tan that somebody tried to spray paint. so i scuffed it and dyed it black with sem plastic dye.
