Fuck it. Im gonna update a bit at work lol. were slow anyways.
So next angle of attack was getting the suspension dialed in.
SO... i ordered Skunk2 Lower Control arms, Asr subframe brace. Beaks tie bar. Blox adjustable endlinks. eibach front and rear sway bars. and Function and form type 1's. SPC rear camber kit and skunk2 front kit.
Test fit them and i wanted to go lower. So i pulled them apart and put oem top hats to give the shocks more travel and i maxed out the preload. It goes plenty low now
Rolled the fenders and installed the coiloveres and camber kits. Heres a test fit:
thanks for the feedback everyone! you are not even close to being up to speed. i will update the thread as soon as im off work! this car has a long way to go.
Hi. Names Josh. Im 20 years old and I have been browsing through the forum for quite some time now. Just decided to make a build thread to keep me motivated.
I worked at a honda shop for around 2 years the owner was my good friend so i had access to all kinds of parts ect.
ANYWAYS: I have had quite a few cars but we will start here. Bought a 93 Integra da shell for $600.00 Threw Together an ls Motor and traded for a wrecked em1 that needed some motor work. And Front end repair.
Long Story Short i got a buddy to fix the airwalker front bumper and do the paint work for me. Rebuilt the motor and slammed it on some diamonds.
15x8 +7 front 15x8 -3 rear -5.5 degrees camber front -10.5 degrees camber rear
I did some hardwood work in the trunk :P
Anyways I had CLOSE to no money invested in the car and sold it for 6800 and i got to keep my seats and other random stuff.
Next bought a del sol shell for $700.00 and rebuilt a d16y8 that way laying around the shop.
how it came
It actually cleaned up very nice
Got the motor in. ***** the car. didnt even bother getting past the point of lowering it
Sold the del sol. Bought this little guy. Basically bone stock (minus the jdm d15b swap) has ac and heat.
Pulled the motor out the next night and swapped it with a jdm b20b gsr trans and 75 shot. not sure why i dont have many pix of the swap. iv been more focused with exterior and stance first.
Started stacking parts 15x9 Varrstoen v3 (dont worry i have bbs im trying to get you up to speed)
Function and form type 1s
nexen 195-45-15
not as stretched as i hoped but it still turns out decent...
stay tuned. tomorrow after work i will get you more up to speed.
