Hard parking in the driveway with the supertones all mounted. Will wire them up at some point. Still not sure on them though, I'm not 100% sold on the look, but wanted to try it out anyway.

Check out that dirty ass! Lots of rain and people opening the boot.

Back to stockies for daily duties unfortunately. But left my spacers on this time.

Had a massive road trip on the weekend. Here are some happy shnaps from it.

As you can see, front lip has been installed. Forgot about it a couple of times while in Melbourne and crunched it, but nothing too bad. Needs a lick of paint and I'm going to colour match the side skirts with some plastidip I reckon.

My Hella supertones arrived yesterday as well so they'll be going in and then the front end of the Subaru should be finished.

Have been looking into other wheel setups for daily driving/something new. I really want some fifteen52 Tarmacs, but just not sure how they would go.

Extended studs rocked up today for the rear drum brakes. Will hopefully install them tomorrow all going well.

Got some mad self notching happening at the rear now the bag clears everything. No more rubbing, but still concerned about the damage done to the sleeve. Will contact BagRiders in the next couple of days in regards to what I can do as a replacement one or something.

Fucking air leaks and shit. Bags are back in, re-did my fittings but must not have tightened them enough.

Sleeves are rubbing at the rear (too much camber and they're rubbing on the inner wall bit) so have to remove some camber which is shit. Which means struts back out, tighten the fittings all up and then change the camber tops.

Not sure how much that is going to change the fitment with the RS's, but looking at getting some sensible wheels to tuck hard as dailys.

Front lip installed, well, two thirds of it. Installing the rest today with more photos to come.

Need this holiday badly. Two weeks off of work has commenced, which means helping a mate out with his truck and hopefully servicing the Subaru.

Front lip arrived yesterday. To say I was excited is an understatement.

Will install tonight and post up some pictures.

I'm tempted, oh so tempted to make the move to America. Just depends on whether or not I can get a work visa.

Unfortunately not. I can get the air suspension setup engineered, but it would mean I'd need it to be auto-levelling (eLevel) and no controller in the cabin, so I'd get iLevel as well.

I'm contemplating spending the money to engineer the auto-levelling system and what not, but at the moment it isn't very feasible for me to do so.

It's not an STI, so you don't need to worry. It is a POV pack Subaru GC8.
Hence why it doesn't matter as it doesn't go fast.
But I know what you mean.

Probably why this is getting an epic engine swap later this year, 6 speed transmission and RWD if I can be bothered doing RWD conversion spools. The reasoning behind this? I'm already so far away from a normal Subaru, let's make it even further away because I can,

Man cars like this always make me feel weird. On one hand, it looks great. Its a sweet fit and its in great shape. On the other hand, I die a little bit inside when I see a GS8/RS25/STi on air. Just knowing what those cars could have been capable of, if the owner had gone in a different direction with the build. Bottum line, its not my car. The person who shelled out the money for the car gets to decide what they want to do with it. And my opinion positive or negative doesn't really matter in the end.
