  • Your X3 brought me here! lol Lovin' what you got going! I purchased an 04 X3 about a month ago and so far have H&R springs and Sachs super touring struts. Here's what I'm working with... (These are my winter rims and tires off my old 330, 235/45/17 ) Still looking for a summer set of wheels!

Keep up the good work, let's get some more x3's on here!

    • I appreciate that bro, and its good to see another X3 on here Im jelly of your front and rear bumper lol. Only suggestion I would make would be more low or get the factor spec tires to close that wheel gap a tad. I think it'd look 10 times better. Feels good seeing more people actually building these things. I think they are ugly as shit but they just have a way of growing on you. Any questions feel free to hit me up bro, very little info available when going this route.

      • Ya those tires were just a temporary solution for winter, pretty fugly all around! lol I'm always searching the local classifieds for wheels... Found some Moda MD11's 18x8 35mm offset wrapped in 245/55/18's I'm going to try em on and see how they look...

Thanks I'll definitely be keepin' an eye on yours!

        • never seen one of these messed with like this.
even though I was never a fan of an x3 before but this one looks reall good.
I like the black trim around the wheels and those fenders flares, outlines the wheels really nice

LOL Understood, def start a build thread man and throw some pictures up when you test them. Seems like your heading into the sporty direction with some function All function in this thread is out of the door

I appreciate that man and as soon as you start a build thread Ill def stay tuned.

Thanks bro, that makes two of us and is the main reason I decided to go this direction. As for the black trim...meh, I want it color matched just to keep everything clean and simple and kind of due away with the whole sporty look of things, but who knows I am always changing my mind. I appreciate your feedback. Love what your doing with the Wago.

            • Im all about the clean simple look also. But the trim looks different.
I do see it all colored matched to the rest of the body, which would great also. (simply clean)
It would look reall tight if you got the sport front and rear bumpers
huge fan of the metallic silver on bimmers
thanks man its coming along real slow since I got another build going

Werd I feel you man, and yeah for the front and rear bumpers including headlights will be getting updated as soon as it is sitting on air. When that happens thats when I will start tearing into the the interior and other things that are planned for it. Im not sure if Im going to keep it silver when it is time to get painted, but I'll cross that bridge when I come too it.

                • Looks a lot better than stock, I would have looked into OEM X5 wheels like Style 214, 168 or style 87.

                  Looks good though

Thanks bro, I appreciate the feedback but nah on the X5 wheels. Not my cup of tea, and majority of the time you see X3s they are sitting on some sort of Bmw style wheel and Im not trying to go that route. Everything is trial and error with this thing and this is simply step one to finding out what I can and cant do with it. More wide coming once bagged. Really want to go with 12s in the rear and 11s up front. That bridge will be crossed in time so we will see what happens.

                        • Well pulled the trigger today and made a big decision. Car is going into shop in a few weeks to get painted and will be down for a month for complete color change. I have a few colors in mind, and the plan it to stay classy nothing wild that oem look with a twist. Clean and simple is always the way. Dropped 2 stacks to hold my place due to the shop being booked up for next few weeks. After that bags

                          • Awesome as fuck man.

P.S. I figured out how to subscribe to a thread and what it does

P.P.S. it basically puts the thread in a folder thing under User cp and just has it there so you dont have to dig through like the build threads for 50000 years. Btw I subbed to this thread

I just purchased a 2006 and I'm currently in the process of turning into my uav. Somewhat replicating the above picture but more of my spin on it. Any one know if this truck is real? Only picture I have ever been able to find of it.
