Hi my names Jonathon,
Im from Victoria, Australia
Story:
I bought my s13 back in March 2011 as a car I could learn in. The reason behind buying an S13 was because I really loved the way it looked, at the time I didn't even know they were called S13's I thought they were called 240sx's.. soon learnt about the name changes depening on regions.. I kind of dived into buying one without reading up on the engine, the history or trends of the car, I just felt like it was "the one" i should buy, after all it was the first and only car I looked at..
So here she is, the day I took her home.

A shot of the interior. It had and still has an uncracked dash, genuine floor mats, 185,000km's and factory speakers. The engine and transmission are CA18DE and Automagic.

She was clean, for an S13 I had been told by other S13 drivers and that I got a perfect canvas. I started reading and delving through forums and threads about S13's. Finding out my colour scheme is one of the more sought after ones and that having an uncracked dash was a blessing lol :P. I went and got the car roadworthied as well and while reading, it stated the colour of my car was green.... I saw only silver and then my friends began commenting on how they loved the minty green colour, I was getting confused as I only saw my car as silver... I then later found out I'm colourblind and can't actually see my own "rare" colour.... sad day for me

It wasn't until Late 2011 and early 2012 that things began to change on the car. During the peroid of March 2011-April 2012 all the changes made were a custom 2 1/4" exhuast with a stock looking twin tip, buying a speedzone roof wing, sourcing aero skirts, which I pressure packed myself and removing the spoiler.

Then June (my birthday had just passed) was when things started happening. I bought myself my first set of wheels, which were White Rota Grids in 17 x 9 +12. I loved them to bits, I researched into offset and width and go set-ups for s13 and found that +12 was a good way to.. but I didn’t have coilovers so I was driving a monster truck around for a while
. I didn’t get many photo’s before a major game changer mod which has been one of my most favorite, finding an aero bar and chucking that on. While wearing the rota grids I stretched tyres… but one pair didn’t end up too good. I also bought something I had wanted for a while, clear taillights.

I had been looking for one for about 12 months before actually finding a legit one. It came with clear indicators and I bought clear lenses to go with it. I spent 4 days prepping, primering, painting and clear coating (all pressure back –canned- btw) My car was almost completed.. so I thought….

I then wanted to enter Grip Shift Slides show and shine, but before I did, I had to find coilovers.. I ended up borrowing some from a mate and they really made the car. I loved it, it was two tone, aero, lowered and siting nice with white wheels.

After much thought on well, i guess growing up, I decided that I needed to go down a different path.. basically the right path and be genuine.. so i need to do something new, something that hasn’t been done before. I was just browsing the web aimlessly when I found an image of an old S13 with some old school wheels. I than began searching for more “old school” S13’s. I found heaps of awesome examples, two of which came from JDMST forums. I began to notice something though, old school s13’s were hardly ever aero and what was even more striking was, there was pretty much only one other two tone rocking and old school look, but was white over gold and not my color. It was pretty much then when I decided I would create my own unique car, something that not many people have seen… a two tone seafoam green aero old school s13.
I then went in search of some SSR Formula’s after finding only a pair of formulas and another pair of SSR Hart Mesh, I sold off my Grids to a mate and bought the two different pairs. I then wrapped the fronts in tyres and threw them on… I loved it (I also bought my own coilovers as well just before hand. HSD HR coilovers)

I'll leave it at that for now.. there has been heaps more progression since the last images, but ill leave that for tomorrow..
