Yup. Weight reduction magically adds lots of power. Amazing how that works out...

I couldn't help it lol. Benefits are marginal, at best, but the sensation is great. Stripped out, torsoe hugging recaro's, stiff suspension and that VTEC rasp gives a great buzz driving it

Went for a spin the other day with a few buddies and took a few pictures while I was at it.

My buddies recently acquired flawless Honda Integra DC2 Type R.

Sized up a CPR today, looking promising.

Pointlessly small update, but none the less an update. Circuit Hero Extension.

Was told it was going to make the gear selecting sloppy but with the B&M Short Shifter coupled with Solid Shifter Bushings it's a bit tighter than OEM and a bit more comfortable having it up close for the B Roads .

Cheers lads, really enjoying her lately, putting a bit of time aside over the next two weeks to fit some parts finally though.

@magnumleigh, cheers man, where abouts are you from?

Purchased a Skunk2 Megapower Manifold in very good condition.

Sanded it down and used a bit of polish to get it up to a mirror finish. You can see the difference here.

Bit of a bad picture but can see the end result.

Must grab the Kakimoto exhaust from the lock up and do the same to the back box.

Cheers. well I think the manifold is a bit of a performance upgrade. That, a fresh cat and the Kakimoto exhaust are going in the next few days. Once it goes through it's NCT inspection I'll get a straight through section made for the centre box and cat which will free it up.

                          Looking great.

What's the difference between the SiR and the Typre-R? I noticed it had ITR cams in it... is the SiR model like a step down or something that would make ITR stuff an upgrade?

                            Thanks man.

The SiR comes in at around 180bhp from factory so a little bit of a step down. In EK4 Civic's it's VTi, SiR, then CTR so same thing I think. VERY restrictive inlet manifold on it so when thats one coupled with everything else and a map I'm hoping it should fend off the majority of ITR's.

Work is under way. Manifold was fowling against the fan cowling so put in a slim line fan that does the trick. The rest of the exhaust will be put on over the weekend and s straight through centre section made up on Monday. Cant wait to see the result of it.

It's been a while since I've updated anything with regards to my builds. Unfortunately I sold my MK3 VR6 and was on the brink of selling this due to a relocation. But after getting a few gremlins ironed out and it running better than ever, I've decided to hold on to it and carry out the rest of my plans.

Hope to have a video of how the exhaust system sounds pretty soon, it's awesome.

Sold the CPR's but re-purchased them after being fully refurbished and wrapped them in some YOKOHAMA Prada Spec-2's. Just going to polish the lip another time, seal them up and bolt them on.

                                Back on track.
