    Thanks.
The point is to do one before and one after the restoration. Only I think the one after will be professionally made and quite longer. Dreams for now.

Moving on to the front axle from the 412. The log was basically trash, so took only the disc brakes. Ganna be restored also.
      Front brakes:

      Taring apart

Will weld the disc protectors back to their formal glory.

Another front axle. But the log is also ****ed. At least all of the A arms are good, and the bushes are almost new. Somehow.

Suspension is still a question mark. At the back there's the leaf springs, so we'll figure something out. But for the front, I think i'll be using stiffer springs and cut a few coils. Anyways i got a ton of springs from all of the cars, so we'll see what we're ganna do to get it low in due time.

      Cheers.

Everything is getting down to bare metal. Every single part. Where i couldn't get with the wire wheel i used anti-corrosive liquid. It binds the rust in a way it can't spread no more.

All patched up, but the pic is sh*t:

So the rear/front axles got primed and painted twice. Soon I'll be tarring up into the main course, which you saw before in the video.

                  But for now.

The one that got chopped to pieces? yeah.
                      The ones from the video:
                      Green: 402
                      2 tone: 407
                      Grey: 408
The end product will be a mix of all 4.

                        This could turn out great.
The Moskvich was an Opel copy right?
Are there any pieces that would fit?
My 1978 Porsche 924 build thread is quite boring.

                          Will do my best.
The first Moskvich was. Besides that, haven't heard any clue about it. Not many for sale in this part of europe, so haven't heard about part fittings also.

The paint dried. Rear axle is finished. Ended the night with this:

Before you say anything, yes this seals it perfectly:

Sorry for the blurry pics and the english.
Next up: front brakes and a full engine rebuild.

Cheers and let me know what you think so far.

Anyways, the paint is still drying on the rest of the parts, so didn't waste any time and went for the engine. Now this is where some pics got lost, some didn't get taken. All in all the carb is f***ed, so getting a new one. Manual fuel pump is also on edge, but'll keep it just for the look when i get a new one. Also ganna add some nice bits and pieces later on, like a turbine of sorts, electric fuel pump. Now i wan't to rebuild it from top to bottom. New pistons, clutch, cylinders are on their way.

This is where i show you the slow process of how I take everything of peace by peace, but instead :

To tell you the truth this got me hesitating, since everthing needs to be replaced. Starting from the cylinders and going to the piston rings. However the crankshaft and camshafts where as good as new.
This 1's my fav. Looks like it died a long time ago.

The head wasn't any better. It looks like it could hardly hold anything from leaking. Ignored all of it. Camshaft out, valves - out.

                                Called it a night.
