At some point in my life, I'm going to regret making a build thread for this thing.

Thanks a bunch, guys. We were at the shop from 8pm last night until about 5:30am today. (I just woke up now)
We started by squaring up the x-member and welding it in for good, and then removed the original, factory gas tank x-member.
Got the upper link bars done, long story but they took entirely way too long. These things happen though and we pushed through. Also got the axle tacked to the frame to keep the diff from moving and removed the leaf springs and blocks. Decided to call it a night at that point. Going to head back shortly and spend the night again.
It is really starting to take shape, but I question my abilities to drive it home Sunday. We'll see.

Well, each and every night this weekend, including last night, was spent at the shop. We watched the sun come up each morning, it was super lovely and only slightly homosexual.
It's almost done now, Need to finish up my fuel lines, re-route my brake lines, wire in my fuel pump and also drill a hole/install my fuel tank pressure sensor in the cell.
Coilovers are fully preloaded, ride height can be raised and lowered, i can actually set the frame on the ground with these brackets.
Brake line bracket modified and relocated to the front fuel cell xmember.
Fuel pump bracket:
The only thing I'm worried about at this point is the fuel cell and pump being too low. However, time will tell.
At this point, the fuel lines are just zip-tied in place, the plan is to box the rear framerails and make new notches in a couple of weeks. At that point the fuel lines will be routed nicely and fastened along the frame rails.
Yay.

Well, got the truck running the other night, what's today? Thursday? Must've been Tuesday night then. Took it out immediately to do a burnout (what better way to see if I would break shit?). Turns out I broke shit. U-joint snapped clean in half, put three large dents in my driveshaft. SO, time for a new driveshaft... again. This one lasted almost two months.
Not a huge deal. I think we're also going to improve on the 4-link geometry some and also play with my coilover preload. It got a little wheel hop and that simply won't do.
That will be saved for the weekend, tonight I'm going to mount the handbrake, remove the Cavalier seats, the center console and the carpet in preparation of a black interior and also going to throw the Corbeaus in the truck from the car. Should be interesting.
