    Nice to get some open minded reactions/comments... hopefully next weekend i get the car started, that would mean i got some custom parts done... starting from engine & gearbox mounts + wiring... after that is only custom exhaust + custom cooling + custom driveshaft todo oh and center console + instruments

    I've set a date "end of this month" when this car needs to be in driveable condition(some small bits can be missing but has to be ready for road.)

    Exami, be sure to not put the engine too close of the firewall to let room for the exhaust. It's an error I made with my 2JZ.

    Soooo today... i've learnt some new thing about W201 chassis, and well those are not good things..


    "so it fits nicely!", NO



    but well as i removed the headers, and sliced the metal next to engine it kinda fitted.. but i still have some issues with the Merc steering rod?! thingy on the middle.. but i think i can solve that by modifying the oilpan..

    good day otherwise, oh also i need to cut the driveshaft tunnel to fit "normal" shifter

    and then the engine mounts...


    some griding and welding needs to be done...

    Today: it turnout to be bit of a fight..

    but heres some results:

    Old 1piston brakes vs new 4piston brakes



    Just bolton swap from W124 300-24V <3 got to love these cars

    cause of? less power more litres? M50B25 is damn fine engine. (M103 3.0 = 177 or 185hp? compared to M50b25 = 192hp) M50 is kinda M104 territory..
