I really like it at that hight, doesn't have to get any lower than that for me! (don't like it if the rims are in the wheel arches (unless it was that way original, like with old air-suspension Citroëns etc, but I'm more OEM+ minded)

Like the mudflaps too.. Should get some for my S124.

What paint did you use for the fog lights btw? And did you just spray away or had to prepare it first in some way?

Btw, curious at what you study.

So damn clean! Looking forward to seeing the new wheel color - I think it's going to give just that little extra "punch" to it.

This height is okay with me on 17's, but when I move to 16's next summer I'm going lower. I love the mudflaps, they are one of my favorite parts of my car. For the foglamps I just used yellow Krylon stained glass paint. No prep work, just tape off and spray.

I'm about to study Marine Transportation, eventual goal is to be a harbor pilot.

I guess I should post a few pics of the wheels with the new color, especially before I sell them.

I'm putting the stock 14 inch bundts back on for a year while I'm gone in school, that way my dad will drive it once in a while, and I can free up some spending money. Thinking manual management bags and polished CLK lightweights next summer.

Thanks man! It stretched my budget pretty tight after sellling my E39, but whatever I love it to death.

Yeah Morimoto Mini H1 bixenon projector. Found on TheRetrofitSource.com

I haven't gotten very far with them though, as I'm leaving my car behind for a year in 8 days.

Here's how the wheels currently look.

                        • I sold the wheels today in preparation for college. My dad is going to drive my wagon every now and then while I'm off in San Francisco at school. When my car and I are reunited next summer there will be new wheels, and a lot lower. Switching to 16's and either going with air suspension, or hacking in some cheap coilovers from a honda or VW or something. Also hoping for a euro front bumper, zender front valance, and a LQ9 escalade V8 under the hood. we'll see.

Also here's my old W123 on the wheels I'll probably end up with.

                          • Lovin the build, looking to add a TD to the fleet and this build just full fills the inspiration. Always been smitten for the clk wheels on a W123.

Thanks! Yeah I love the polished CLK's, although part of me really wants to do classic white stock hubcaps and air suspension. We'll see. I've got many many months before the car and I are reunited, so I've got time to plan it all out.

                              • My buddy back home photo-shopped another member's photo with the ride height and wheels that I'll be after soon. I even plan on doing the white walls as well. This is the definition of perfect in my eyes. It is going to happen as soon as my car and I are reunited.
