I've secretly always wanted a wagon, so I bought a 1981 300TD W123

    • Okay a wheel trade that was set to happen has fallen through. I'm honestly pretty bummed, so tired of craigslist people.

Anyway. I got some toys while I was gone in SF. Unpacking was a nightmare.

Euro bumpers are waiting on a little TLC, then they'll be on. Collecting parts for my manual swap. Was supposed to have staggered AMG Penta's, but the seller is a fuck. Sooooo CLK lightweights in the mean time.

More low asap, it's killing me.

      Here's my crap unpacked.

Hung out with my best frand Seth, and his W140 S420 lowered on Carlsons.

Waggy creeping on her front euro bumper, hopefully it'll be on asap.

More in the next few weeks, I just got home yesterday night at 2am.

Funnily enough... We're actually planning on test fitting them tomorrow. Never seen a w123 pull off 18's well though. I'll take pics though,

            • Seems like 16's are the sweet spot on these cars, but it never hurts to try them . Nice score on the euro bumpers - I always ***** the big rubber mat on the top of the US ones.

Yeah I def think that 16's are the best size, you would believe what I got the euro bumpers for...

                • Did you pick up that skid plate from your local dealership or somewhere else? I've heard they are pretty tough to find.

Skid plate came from the factory on my '84 sedan, then I removed it when I sold the car.

You can get the OEM skid plate from MB classic center for $37.50 last I heard.

I also have the radiator skid plate, which is literally impossible to find.

                          • Still own it.

Euro bumpers front and rear, cut more spring, and temporary training wheels. Should be getting some real 3 piece goodness this weekend.
