It sounds like the OP is relatively new to the car hobby world.
I'm guessing you don't have much wrench time or access to tools.
If that is the case, I would highly suggest that you stay away from Audi's and BMW's.
Get the Civic si over the RSX, it comes with a slightly better motor and a LSD.
Stay away from the MS3, they have issues.
Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

of the cars you listed i'd go for the mazdaspeed3 because awd and i like the body style of early 2000s models.
ms3's are FWD. ms6's are awd.

                b5 s4's are scary if you're on a budget.

s2k's are fun, but not super practical especially if you have more than one passenger regularly.

Are you stuck on newer cars? You can get some older cars that are fast, fun and look great for good budget.

                    350z, s2k, mk4 vw r32, 02-07 wrx....

All fall into your specifications and your price range. Id reccomend spending the whole 13k on the car and then save up for mods over doing what some people are saying and buying a car for 8k and spending 5k on mods. Youll end up with a better, newer, more reliable car if you fork the money up up front.

1.Break it down on what you're going to mainly use it for (track, drift, stance, show etcc..)
2.check specific forums & so research
                      3. Start test driving them
                      4. Buy it for the most reasonable amount so that way you can immediately fix what's wrong or start upgrading.
                      5. & drive happy

                      Your welcome...

2004 gto. Bone stock it's a killer car. My brothers was bought for 12k back in the spring. Bc coilovers can be had for $1000. So there you have 13k. Faster than 90% of cars. Hard to kill LS1 (Chevy 350). Amazing road trip car. Comfortable DD. the only downside is fuel economy, but the manual cars do get 25+ mpg highway.
