Small update...

Finally have a daily so I have not been driving her a lot at all. Basically just get her out on weekends. which is good because with the new height and the modern lines have been making the subframe get well...

a bit beat up.
Red will basically be sitting for the next few months waiting for H2O. I have a bit of work to before I leave, just normal things like oil change, trans fluid change, coolant flush, fuel filter, brake fluid flush, brake pads, replace that crushed oil pan & get the car cut & buffed.

later guys.

Thanks man! I always loved the look of mirror deletes on mk3's and my buddy gave me the block offs at Vag Fair so I was stoked hahaOriginally posted by DaCabrioGuy View PostI just noticed that you did a mirror delete. Little things like that just make it pop. Well done!

Not to be taken in the wrong way but how was the motor raised 1.5"? The reason I ask is 1" raise barely fits under the hood. Also I raised my aba 3/4" and it appears the same as your picture in the garage with the hood open.
edit: My pan now sits well above the subframe and cannot be touched or seen.Last edited by bmwfan597; 09-15-2013, 04:24 PM.

As far as I know the PO said it was raised 1.5". The pan is above the subframe, only reason the pan has a dent in it is from a terrible bum I hit on the way home from SOWO.
I also flipped the throttle body to gain some clearance.
When the motor comes out I'm replacing the mounts with BFI mounts and getting euro image spacers.
