    here is a little update.
All the parts for Red's face lift finally came in.
Picked up a set of ducts from Jasen. Got them and sand and primed them. I got paint from automotive touch up and painted the ducts, side markers and lower grill trim.

Parts turned out great and the paint was pretty much spot on. Put the ducts and side markers on the next morning and got lunch with my good friends Brandon & Falon (her cabby).

You maybe asking why do you need to paint the lower trim when you have that ugly badge less grill on there now? Well.....

Picked up a brand new Vento grill thanks to Zeb
I got home from work and found the box and put the trim on then put it on the car.

Brock is bringing me a emblem and antenna block off plate today.

Also did this to get the car a tad bit lower.

Well I'm going to finish packing and take a nap so I can head out to H2O at 8pm
    See you guys there!

When the motor comes out I'm replacing the mounts with BFI mounts and getting euro image spacers.
Yeah I wasn't saying it was impossible, just didn't think any more than 1" could be done. I am also making mk3 mount spacers if you needed some, I normally make them for a 1/2 inch raise so they are vr capable but I could make larger. message me if you are interested.

Man that color is sweet. This isn't helping me shake the fact that I want a mk3.

Not to be taken in the wrong way but how was the motor raised 1.5"? The reason I ask is 1" raise barely fits under the hood. Also I raised my aba 3/4" and it appears the same as your picture in the garage with the hood open.

edit: My pan now sits well above the subframe and cannot be touched or seen.

Oh it's a big list still. Here is a idea..

Body- euro golf front & rear bumpers, CL lip, euro hatch, abt textured rep skirts, euro rad support & hella all red tails. I have a Early Vento grill on its way as well as a set of Kamei Bumper ducts.

Engine- TT 298 cam, TT big valve kit, port & polish head, LSD, TDI 5th gear, replace all seals, gaskets and new rings and bearings

Suspension & Brakes- Banchwerks drop plates, 1" ball joint extenders, Tie-rod flip, G60 or VR Cailpers & 11" rotors.

Also going to doing the wire tuck this winter and work on the bay as well.
