This thing is Boss dude! Looks smick!
(apart for that rear lip that someone molestered )
It catches my eye like when chicks bend over
But ive got a few spots like that on my 323i,
part of the process I suppose
keep up the good work lad!
I would have had to drill 6 holes in the bumper to do any sort of mounting, so all I did was hold it up and make sure it would fit the curves. I'm so excited to get that on the car and fix the rear spoiler over the winter.

Thanks man. The lip actually molestered itself. :/ Somehow moisture got all the way to the metal reinforcement piece in the middle of the spoiler. The whole thing is bubbling up, starting at that bad spot. So I'll have to cut it in half and perform surgery or something crazy like that.
Today after work I spent about 4 hours buffing the entire car. Did 3 stages of buffing (compound, polish, wax) and some wetsanding here and there, which finally 'glassed' the car out pretty good. I don't think it's ever looked better than this in the couple years that I've owned it.
Planning to take some pics with my DSLR on the way into work tomorrow morning. Then I'll work on putting the lower front springs back in... (cut 3 coils on those, instead of 1.5 coils currently)
So, in celebration of our first snow this year (which lasted all day yesterday and half of today,) here's a couple pics of the aforementioned 3.8 that will go in before the end of the winter. The heads have already been decked but we'll probably have to re-do it, as well as fill a couple EGR holes. My buddy has been porting the heads over the last week, when all is said and done, it will have a dual-row chain conversion, all new guides and gaskets, AMG cams and solid lifters. Ports have been opened up more than 10% and I'm going to hunt for Try-Ys or a custom setup toward the end of winter. Thinking about possibility of running an Eaton. Happy winter/project season!
