i forgot all about my build thread i will update it a little. I had the ryvers on for a while and sold them to my good friend ryan who now has them on his red e30. I picked up a set of vsxx's and refinished them.
I wanted them to be a bright copper like copper plating. and the powder coater said they could. when i picked them up they looked nothing like what i wanted. they look good just not what i want. needless to say theyre getting redone in the spring, probably stone white to match my car. theres just something about white on white. anyways the car is a lot lower than it was before. sitting at -4 camber in the rear and-3.5 in the front

Love the story behind this. Not a fan of Neon's by any means but this is awesome.

Loved it on the Ryvers. Wheels look good now but like you said, I think they'd be better white.

wow man, awesome transformation for sure. Deff normally cant stand neons, but yours is super clean. Cant wait to see the wheels redone, would have been perfect in actual copper.

I dig the headliner. Every time I see a headliner done in that style I want to redo mine...but the stock liner is like perfect and pretty nice...I almost want it to start falling or something...

Thanks guys. I wanted to get the wheels copper plated but also wanted them to done in time for h2oi and could not afford and didnt really want to drop that kind of money. I redid the headliner because the previous owner was a smoker and there was black stains on the tan headliner and it was disgusting haha

well havent updated this in a while. figured i would do my biannual update haha. anyways i decided to redo the wheels again. Just decided to color match them. I was going to get them sandblasted but read that powdercoat makes a good primer/basecoat for paint sticking to bare metal. Also picked another set of mirrors to color match the folding parts.

I also picked up stiffer rear springs. 10k eibach for my bc coilovers. the lips of my rear wheels were hitting the quarters chipping paint so I decided to put an end to that.

Lastly fixed this annoying boost leak. I threaded the oem iat sensor and made a bung and had it welded into the coldside pipe.

                            Mirrors are on

2 of the wheels are together just waiting to order 2 larger lips for the rear.

Hey man! As soon as I got my SRT almost a year ago I idolized your car! It's nice to see the progress of it but I didn't imagine it came such a long way! Great work!
