  • Angelina the $500 e21

Hi I am Dreydon and this is my first car Angelina. The e21.

The basket weaves aren't on the car at the moment.

I didn't like the diving board on the front so I took it off.

Then it was time to cut the springs and put a good ride height on it. 3 coils off in front, 4 coils off in the back.
Thanks to my friend Hall Huntington.

The bumper shock came off then we gave it a good wash.

After I went with my friend Logan Turney and Hector Ortega to take some rolling shots.

I'm going to go ahead and guess you don't own a spring compressor nor do you live near and auto zone.... Glad no one was hurt.

      Nice cheap Bmr.

Looks good. Really good. To be honest I am really jealous, love e21s. Put those weaves on and drop the front!

After taking apart many slinky suspensions, the angle grinder is my preffered method now too. So much quicker.

I want to cut more in the front too. After I grind off that one spot that scrapes. If I can. Thanks everyone. Hope to get the weaves on by spring break.

Not even sketchy. Less sketchy then spring compressors in my opinion. The strut holds the spring in place so it's not going to fly out or anything when it's cut. Cut halfway through the spring, then bounce on the car. Spring breaks and you're out of the way anyway.
