If the goal is to get low, why spend a shit ton of money on lowering springs/coilovers? Cut springs increase in rate by cutting them too, so it gets low, stiffer ride, better handling. I've cut springs for years, compared to harsh coilovers I would take cut springs any day.

[QUOTE=ajnardo;1012284]just spend the 300 on struts and springs./QUOTE]

The car cost $500 if I recall correctly so would be worth 60% of the cost of the vehicle just for coilovers. Cut springs to get more low. On a side note the car looks great and makes me want to get a e21 to compliment my 2002.

Thanks man. Yeah, job searching so I can get money to do stuff. Pretty slow build but I am excited to see how it looks by the time I am out of high school.

What it looks like now. Will get better picture when the people in the other apartment go away for a while.

See the scratch that was made trying to move. :P
And for the people telling me to go lower in the front. this is what keeps me from doing it. It has been ground down a lot from scraping. Still trying to find out what to do with it. I need to spend some time and play with it.

She is a pos, but I like her a lot. Can't go anywhere at the moment though... Need 15mm spacers. I am stuck bumming rides off friends and family. Haha Thank you though!

Those look like exhaust clamps. Get someone to weld the exhaust and then just cut them off.

Just thought I would take some pictures. Getting spacers special made from a family friend for spring break. Hopefully this baby will be on the road soon!

I think the spacers will make the wheels look better(or the fitment). Can't wait!

The issue on e21's is lack of aftermarket support. They don't make a spring that drops more than 1.5 in which isn't enough and there are no cheap options for a good drop. Nothing like e30's. can't wait to see where you go with this.

Oh I know. Most of the stuff I am doing will all be custom body work. I am thinking of bags. Just alot of money. If I want some coilovers I will have to make some. But yeah thank you. This summer I am heading up to Boardman, OR to do some surprise work. (; Can't wait to see what I have planned for it also.

My e30 started as a $700 beater, so you've already got me beat...
This has a lot of potential, keep it up!
