Almost done, it's in primer again, but paint is laid out. Taking way to long. It will be satin black when it's done. Anyway, list of things to do this weekend.... True HID Foglights, 3000k. Custom half ton bumper, painted yesterday, will have to fabricate the mounts. Weld in front shock mounts, new trans mount, install double din radio and new gauges. Should be a busy Friday.

Amazing work! beautiful Minis and as much as I don't like Astro vans, yours is beautiful! I like how you have completely customized it but kept it so clean and "simple"

          progress IS a slow process

So gonna try and finish fabricating the bumper and paint it this weekend hopefully. I also do commute 3 hours a day to VA, so I'm on the road with it a lot.

I have built lots of custom cars, and it's always hard making everything custom while being legit so you don't get hassled all the time, especially being on the road that much.
sick, i totally saw your van then. looks good!

A little bit of a productive friday...

I **** mismatching gauges, but they will have to do for now.

New half ton bumper on, I am going to redo the mounts so it sits up 1" higher, and slot it so I can move it a 1/4" to the right. Otherwise I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

I'm diggin the van, but for some reason I feel like It would look nicer if the headlights were exposed or you created some kind of grille that was more like oem.

I agree, while I like it better than what was on there before, I still am on the fence with it. I like form and function. Headlights suck being behind the grill, so that makes me want to change it even more since I commute with it 3 hours a day. Here are a few choices, you guys pick one.

                    1. STOCK

                    2. Painted STOCK

3.Billet Grill in place of stock, this is what the van originally had accept much bigger bars and chrome. Wasn't a big fan.

                    4. All black stock

                    5. What I got now, the phantom grill

                    6. Colorado clip.... HAHA, one of my favorites but I'm not getting into all that.

THOUGHTS, which one? I may just go back to stock and paint to match the burgundy.

This is faaar better than anything I have ever owned but since it's the internet and we all got opinions... I'm not a huge fan of the 2 tone paint job. I think the grill would be fine if the paint were 1 color and kept it simple.

                        Great build OP!

Well I just did a crappy PHOTOSHOP of the stock grill painted to match. I thing I am going to go this route....

I vote for painted stock, but remove the logo if possible.

Paint the phantom grill black and smoke the turn signals
