haha yeah I had been debating making a new thread since the title is kind of meh. But it still is my first stance project it just runs on and on lol. Glad it proved you wrong. Hopefully in the next few months it will get even more on point with some fresh wheels or step lips on my style 5s, so atleast come h2oi and other shows late in the season it will be on something one of a kind.

            • Ok so a few little updates, my steering wheel will be here tomorrow, I think I am going to go ahead and order my steering wheel adapter tomorrow as G-force engineering is running a sale and it is $130 vs the usual $155.

And talking to my friend whom is going to paint the car he thinks he will be able to get to it next month, so if he can get to it before SOWO I guess I will be cruising down with fresh paint. If he can't I am going to pull the fender off and push the dent out from the back side, which should allow the fender to clear the door which will allow me to open the door to get the interior panel off and push the dent back off of the crash bar, and allow others to ride in the car on our way to the show and leave the damage be only the bend in the front of the door, and cracked paint.

              • my steering wheel is here, now I am waiting a little while before I blow the $150 on my hub adapter from gforce engineering.

I went to a show sunday at the nation corvette museum and got a few pictures of the car:

I also helped bag a Scion TC2 the other day. After all of the things other scion owners told my friend before her purchase I have decided most scion owners legitimately are retarded. Air ride on this car was beyond easy to install. The whole kit for the car is the same as an 08 XB literally all the stuff from air lift was listed as 08 XB parts on the packaging.

                    • So update time! With the help of Mullet and a few other buddies we got the car fully on air

Being that the one company that bags Monaros in Australia did not have any pictures or info to go with their install guide I feel this should be helpful.

So first off we cut and ground the spring mounting points flat,

                      Untitled

                      Untitled

next step was getting mounting holes drilled. We made cardboard templates to mark the holes on the spring mount. Followed by cutting out the floor in order to access the bolts and beating one piece of metal back in order to gain clearance

                      Untitled

                      When we were all done

                      Untitled

here is where our install differs from the aussi installs. I was told "just drill through the control arm and mount the bag". As much of a pain as it was to get through the floor we weren't too keen on drilling through the control arm. So once again Cody (mullet) to the rescue. We bagged his girlfriends TC2 a few weeks ago and we had left over brackets we didn't need from her kit so we welded them to the control arm, and used the center bolt hole on the bag to mount it to the control arm.

                      Untitled

We then rattle canned all of this raw steel to keep from rusting. I don't have any more pictures of our install last night but from this point it was just lining up bolt holes which at 3 am proved to be a challenge.

We got the car driveable and threw all of the rear interior panels in the back of the car and we proceeded to go to bed. Then I put my interior back in at my parents house the next morning. I went to my parents house for a key reason. I had 99% of the rear interior out making rear shelf removal easy, so being that I have decided to use rear shelf subs I threw my oem blaupunkt 6.75s back in the rear shelf and turned the oem amp up a hair. So I now have proper bass again.

                      Untitled

So now onto how it looks up and down.

                      Aired all the way up:

                      Untitled

                      Aired out:

                      Untitled

then a donk impala parked next to me at my apartment complex so I showed him what was up, both trunk lids were the same height

                      Untitled

See you all at Sowo we'll be in these two cars.

                      • I forgot another thing I discovered recently. In an attempt to clean up the interior I want to change the gear selector handle (yes my car has a slush box). So I disassembled my console to see what I can do. And I discovered the release on the shifter is literally a rod in a lever, so really any unmarked shifter will work. I am thinking a crystal bubble knob or some weighted metal knob.

                        • although its a vette it still has essentially the same design http://m.corvetteforum.com/c6-tech-p...t-knob-c6.html (disregard the hideous shift knob he used)

thank you senor! I will look into it I thought the shifter was already spring loaded though but that makes attaching the new shifter less sketchy

perfect offsets just badly in need of 19s.

the front needs to be a hair lower but its not bad

                              • Lindsey's TC pulls those wheels of soooo well. I'll agree they need to be a bit bigger, but very suprised at how fantastic those look on there.
