My buddy in cali has spare fenders so I think I'm going to buy them. Then I found a door in cleveland, but I am going to talk to some friends whom are body guys to ask their opinion on whether the door is savable or if I am better off buying a new/new to me door

Good news I have found a door in Kentucky for $300 yay!
also my car got posted on Cincinnati Street Style's main post about the show which is exciting!
I also calculated it out and I will pretty much be at the exact same cost to have my Style 5's rebuilt by Spintech into 18x11s and 18x12s as it would be to sell my style 5s and buy CCW Classics, LM20s, or a few other styles of wheels so I am now even further conflicted on what to do. While I like being a bbs fanboy jumping on the CCW band wagon is never a bad option. Or have the BBS's rebuilt and for a change up get 5x120-> 5x130 adapters and run the CCW C140s off of my dad's boxster as they don't fit on his 911 and he hoards old wheels....Last edited by GTOguy; 04-02-2014, 06:21 PM.

Can I have some your dad's old wheels? lol
Sucks about the fender bender. Did you ever make progress on finding the owner of the car that hit yours? At least they didn't hit the wheel!
It's a work in progress^

No real update. But I am now booked to go to sowo, and quite excited about it. Now the task of bagging the rear and fixing the body need to happen. I'm going to talk with some body shops this week about trying to save the door as re-deadening a door as well as running more speaker wire would be a pain in the ass, so even if it will be a little more expensive it would be better in my opinion. lol.

I removed my bump stops up front to get lower, and now something else is making contact :/ I need to pinpoint that to get the front the last half inch down and more importantly be able to run 18xwide wheels up front and rest fender to lip. I also talked to my buddy whom is a painter and also owns the black R32 GTR in the trailer for the new fast and furious movie and he gave me a good quote to repair my car saving all of my panels. So anyway we had a local memorial show for some local individuals whom have passed away and I have found a few photos from that.
right after I removed the bumpstops:
If you have followed my build for a long time you may have seen my cat in many pictures as he lives in my parents' garage recently we noticed him bumping into things and walking more cautiously and all signs would point to him going blind but coming into racing and show season he still loves when my dad , brother, or I work on cars:
Pictures from the show:

Also, poor kittyI have a one eyed cat and my biggest fear is something will happen to her good eye.
And yeah the one worry we have right now with him being a garage cat is he depends a lot on seeing things to avoid getting run over by the cars. Luckily he has lived there for years so he just climbs on our golf cart, into his bed or onto our freezer when he hears the garage door open, so he's got it figured out well haha.

Small updates. I went to a drift event on Friday, and Grip Royal was one of the sponsors, they had a Red leather steering wheel on display and a post on instagram about how I was about to buy it, and one of my friends posted that he had the same wheel for sale. So I bought that for $80 shipped. So I am waiting on that to arrive. I also ordered a few odds and ends for it. Only one company makes the adapter for the GTO and it is $150 so I am going to hold off on buying it for a few weeks but hope to have it in for the cruise to Sowo.
I'm talking to my buddy about getting my body and paint work done, hopefully it will get done before sowo so someone can ride with me lol, I **** cruising alone
I have one final Saturday morning and then I have a little break before I start summer classes. I am going to try to get the rear bags on Saturday afternoon so the whole car will be on air for a show in Bowling Green, KY Sunday.
Steering wheel in Ian's GTO:
Parked in the grass has the rear squatting, I am so ready to be able to air out way lower than this.
