    At the bodyshop I worked at for a while, we used 3M 08115 panel bonding adhesive to join plastic parts like that. The big advantage of it is that it's sandable and paintable as-is, and it's stupid strong. We actually occasionally used it even to fab small plastic bits, like missing fins on grilles, since it held up so well.

    I'll second all the noise about that IS bumper. That has the potential to look incredible.
