Ooof, that crack is uuuugly. I hope you drilled a hole at the terminus of the crack to help keep it from spreading.

Were it me, I would cut that entire spring cup off and rebuild it from scratch out of heavier-duty material, preferably brought up the sides of the trailing arm as far as possible for maximum weld length.

I've always thought those cantilevered spring cups were a stupid idea...

This bish here!! HorribleFreight 80amp chicago welder wasn't trying to have it. I spent a hour trying to get the wire feeder to do its job......wasn't having it, until i tighten up on DADADDDZ! walah
