    Yeah, ive always liked the look of red rims and white walls, I could say im going for a bt of a hot rodish type of feel/look...

    few snaps from weekend. **** prep for painting


    should look the goods once done, happy with the colour in the sun.

    dont really have any pics from there on. All sections of rust were removed and replaced. The left rear guard was removed and replaced as well.





    It has sat like that for the past 8months or so, in the meantime I aquired a set 6.5" steelies and painted red, fitted some tyres and flappers, some 116 vented front disks and calipers, and a 3.07:1 rear differential to go with the v6 powerband.

    I also dissasembled the rear half shaft and replaced the cv boots... absolute shite of a job.

    only just now I got some time up my sleeve and im back into it

    after being all alone for so long, i thought it would be nice for it to have a friend. well actually I had been on the lookout for a parts car for quite a while. I was after a few odds and ends, especially a front window and some floor sections.

    A non starter w115 2l was found and dragged back and quickly underwent a bit of weight reduction



    after realising the parts car was in a lot better shape than the w114 project, they switched roles. And again off after rust we went.
