So bought a BMW 535 E39 -01 a couple of months ago, had to do some repairs at first and spend money on guitars and other pointless shit, but now the money will be "invested" in the car!

So this is the ride for now!




Original as fuck' but things will change! Although just gonna fix some shit that i found under the surface (this part i edited in, forgot to put it up before)

Such as this, felt something was missing.



Cut it open to find this



Bent it down welded on some reinforcements (pic was before the reinforcements)



welded on some steel to cover the shit again, had to rebuild the entire back corner with some plate from a mercedes van (had it layin at work) so it's still proper german steel!



then i sanded down some other rust and painted it (i'ts black now btw)
had to disassemble part of the car LOL



but now it's a little less rusty just gonna fix the rest if i'm gonna keep it!

Ordered some black chrome kidneys like thousands of other bmw owners. but mine look ten million times better.

Also tripped over a couple of keskin 19" rims, just gonna fix em up and paint em black (original paint is crap and have no cash or patience to polish the wheels)

Tried putting on the new wheels today and they looked awesome.
Have decide they gonna stay silver, looks killer the way they are!




Have to buy coilovers for the summer, dem bitchez aint' gonna come runnin when it's so high!

Totally agree, i re-considered and i think i'm gonna paint the entire wheel in some kind of reeeallly shiny silver, because it's easier than trying to polish the wheels (or if i have too much freetime i will polish them), and then BMWlogo in the center!

Fitted my the darker kidneys and tinted the foglights with cheapass tinting plastic, turned out really nice, looks like it found it's darker side!



Gonna change the angel eyes to more xenon look or maybe led's so you can change to whatever color you want! Red angel eyes would be smashing!

Whoa, so glad you are not going to paint the wheels black.
Looks great, drop will make it look a lot better.
If you don't polish the lips, don't paint them either(the lips). It's better like this than with paint on the lips. Saw that done once on kt4, it's just a waste. I say it's better to run them with 'war scars' than run painted lips.

oh, and no bmw logos. they will lose some of the look with bmw logos.

just my point of view, still a nice car whatever you decide.

You have a good point there! I would have run them as they are if it weren't for the have two huge dents that i need to fix, they aren't very round :P

But thankfully there's som fellas fixing rims just a few miles away so im gonna let them fix the wheels, would have done it myself if i hade an aluminium weld TIG or what they called, just out with the big hammer and give them a few smacks!

And on the logos i think im gonna run without logos for a while looks very race without them!

Oh, i painted my rear diff too, totally pointless but looks nice!
