So end of a chapter, the car is traded in for a BMW 525i E39 -03 so my 535 is going on new adventures and i hope the new owner takes care of it! I will pick up my new bmw at the end of this week, here's some of the last pictures of my ride
so this thread was a waste of internet haha but hopefully the 525 will be a better waste of internet, coilovers is atleast cheaper for 525's
Got a new bootlid today, found it on my new job, went out and took it off another bmw sneaky and installed it on my own today! Rust free and almost the same color! The only difference is that it's metallic and the rest of my car is not but you can't really tell but in bright sunshine!
The bit just beneath the lid is gonna get some more work so it's just as shiny as the boot!
and i bought new brake thingys because mine suck donkey arse, they're so fucking fresh! it's like i don't even wanna put them on!
and one crappy photo of the car, it will get more lows soon!
Boombox is a musthave. It was a real painintheass to get it in! I don't know if i will get it out haha
Had the speakers and the amplifier and stereo layin around from my previous car
Here's a picture of that setup, it was a bit more clean, that box was way to large for the 535 so it lives now in my mates saab 9-5 aero.
And here's a picture of my previous car and the car before that.
I do miss my wagon :'( i was going to lower it but then i found the 535!
was going to lower that to but when i had the e36 i didn't even know how to change a headlight :S
Got a new job so soon I will have money to buy those fukin coils! Been waiting too long! Although I am quite concerned on how the fuck I'm going to install them, tried to take out the front struts when I was mounting the springs but they were like welded!
So i changed the springs with struts still in place, no bigger deal, but hey I'll just have to wait and see and I'm a big believer in the religion of BRUTEFORCE if violence doesn't solve the damn thing USE MORE FUKIN VIOLENCE.
My newly painted valveheadlids ( i don't know what it's called )
My new tailpipe (made it myself! yay), although it's ugly black now and rusty because all of the salt they throw on the roads here, but it was nice when i welded it on
Here it is how it sits right now with only tiny lowering springs up front, totally pointless but just had them laying in the basement
And then i got a good price at spacers i couldnt refuse
up front before and after
Back they were too wide so i cant lower the car with these tyres so i might get different tyres or roll the fenders so i'll get some good fitment!
I managed to pop a driveshaft when i was going to do burnout so now i'm going nowhere, i'm quite stupid sometimes.
So i got some tyres on the rims and put them on, i made a new exhaust tip (2x2,5") and painted the other valve cap.
Still original height, lost my job so coils gonna have to wait, i have some lowering springs laying about i'm gonna put on for now
So here's a pic of how it sits now, the roof racks is off but they might be put on again or maybe not
Also i got it photoshopped of how it might look with coils hehe
Keep up good work...I always have thing for e39, if only the parts are not that expensive here I would buy 530i e39 in a hearbeat, hence the w210 was a better choice
Yea the parts can be quite expensive, especially when it's a v8
