falken makes a 235/40 17. not sure if its available in your country, but it may be.
im very excited to see where this goes!
I'll look it up, thank you for the tip.
I have to be at work a lot right now, but things are going forward, slowly but surley.
Sorry, but dont have any more pictures. I always connect my phone to the garage stereo and I like my music. Might have a real camera laying around somewhere.
I was really surprised how she could be in such incredebly good shape underneath.
That changes the priorities a bit. Next up should be the interior or the wheels.
Found the camera, so I tried to snap some photos. The only problem is that the camera itself is quite limited. There is this thing that you can spin, that have different symbols. If it's a picture of a flower, you can take a picture of a flower. If it's a picture of a running man, you may take a picture of a running man. That I know. I found neither of those however. But There was this one thing called "auto" It must be short for automobile because it kept focus at least.
Said photos:
The rear axle is down, exept that it's stuck because one of the bushings are holding on to the bolt. So now I have to find some kind of torch to melt it so it will fucking let go. Or build a flamethrower.
That would be quite wierd however since I have to buy an LPG-tank for that. I also need lube for the bearings and some straps.
I will not walk up to a female cashier buying a petrolium gas tank, lube and some straps. I will also not use the sentence "Guess what i'll be doing tonight"
Just might..
You are crazy wide/offset but I like it... Just something about it. And that thing you said that sometimes you just a get a feeling like you have to jump at that idea thats been itching inside your head. Thats how I got about cars that I have had and my current car also. I wanna do my car in my style, with some other ideas and creative moments thrown into the blender. Its gonna be a great day when I am able to get my car set up how I envision it. Great project and look fwd to more of your build. Love the car in black on those BBS wheels too. Classic.

Thanks man! Thats exactly the thing, I cant wait for the day my car is set up the way I want it. I've spent so many hours in my head just imagening how things would play out.
As you said, this is something I have to do, something to be proud of. I hope you feel the same way about your car, because that feeling is really all the motivation you'll ever need.
I've done things, and obviously not documented them.
I did search my phone for something at all and came up with these:
So I completed the rear axle with new bushings, paint, etc.
Pinched the rims together as well, even though it looked stupid.
Realized the fitment was not going to cut because of the donald duck stance..
Welded the inner control arm mount to recieve immense camber, also had to create these external mounts to the rear coils to prevent the wheels from touching the coilover.
I had the interior resewn, brown always made my dinghy tingle so the choice of color was simple. Also added a Nardi wheel like everyone else owning an 80's bmw.
The back seat is pretty sick actually, but I honestly dont have a picture of it...
Broken status on that last one, lol.
Hopefully though, a friend said he'll take some pictures of her this weekend if the weather allows it. I think someone who is good with a camera really could set her off!
moar camber in the front if possible, tuck that wheel in to mach the back! Looks great though, solid work
Yeah, that was kind of a last minute fix simply because I wanted to drive the car this summer, no matter what.
The way I see it I have three options.
Make the rims smaller, add fender flairs or do some work with the grinder in order to access some more camber in the front.
But in all honesty, the camber is kind of over the top, it feels like I'm driving on bicycle wheels.

I have done things.
Sold the 4" barrels on the Rs's to Noak
(The guy with the blue bagged e28 on 12.5" BBS RF, holy moly!)
I wanted to get proper fitment and the super camber just didnt fit in.
Obviously, no great photoshoots, but potatocam phone pictures to at least show you how she looks.
Also got electric windows for both the front and the back, the install was the worst.
I actually had to buy another car just to get the harness, I already had the motors.
Anyways.
It was'nt possible to get the rear lower at the time since the toe out was so massive, you can even see it in the picture.
So that's what im doing, also got her washed and polished.
I'm trying to get a photoshoot together later this week if the weather approves.
Really looking forward to the winter since I have the car at a place where I like how she sits, but I want to make some subtle mods that I've never seen on an e28 before to really make her stand out.
