I love that you are airing it out rather than static, this has amazing potential and that paint makes the front of my pants get wet for some reason....weird

You're doing it the way it should be done and not the way it shouldn't that's good.

                    Something new..

Modified E21 323i rear trailing arms

                    Fabbed some short shifter

                    Camber/toe kit welded on

Bought some steering wheel hub. Genuine NOS part from 70-80´s (last one in Finland)

                    ----

I have E28 535 gearbox, so there is no place for speedo cable.

I am going to use E30 LSD differential, and there is a trigger and sensor for electric speedo.

So, the solution already exists---> Let´s fit E30 electric speedo to the 02 instrument cluster

Prototype of matching speedo dial face, clock replaced by a original tachometer

                    ----

                    Fitting of E30 diff

Turned some adapter flange. Fits directly to the pinion flange

                    Bolt on

                    Extension..

                    ..cutted to the proper length

                    Jigged to the subframe

                    Remove the lump

Remove original brackets, and bolt the new lump to the jig

                    E21 falf shafts fits perfectly

Finally, manufacturing new bracket points around the lump (Still under construction, because i am waiting some parts from the lasercutting company)

                    Thats how it goes here..
                    Project 1.
                    Project 2.

Needs to be done quickly, if I'm going to be 12-14.7.13 in Obermehler.

Has been working in the garage all the time. I'm just too lazy to tell what's going on...

                          Well, at least some pictures.

                          Minor weldings

Same process to the both sides. (new sills, subframe mounts etc.)

Modified E36 diff cover, to fit E30 diff. (LSD of course)

02-series rear subframe bushing cover, modified for shortened E30 bushing.

                          Struts

Original pedal box raised up to life (welded, sandblasted, painted and re-assembled)

                          For cruising. (hidden installation)

02 rear axle with E21 driveshafts and trailing arms, 20mm sway bar. Powerflex/Superflex bushings. (subframe modified to E30 diff)

Zimmermann brake discs and some other parts.

Front axle. 22mm sway bar. Powerflex/Superflex bushings...

                          ..and Volvo 4-pot calipers.

                          To be continued...

                          Project 1.
                          Project 2.
