Ah im trying to avoid spacers to avoid adding yet ANOTHER possible defect to the list - but I know exactly what you mean.

However, its like that for a reason - I'm broke and the guards aernt rolled (yes, i have somehow got my car to the point of rails WITHOUT rolling guards - i don't even know.) so once they are rolled I have another inch or so of play and then I will actually increase the lips on the rim, rather than spacers as they are three piece wheels

Edit: Man, also, I read your build thread on your merc ages ago, and being in a wheelchair man you are a HUGE inspiration. Can't stand thinking to myself now 'I can't do this, I can't do that' when I saw what you had achieved, its a huge credit to you man, well done!

Agreed. the more I look at the picture above your reply, the more I love them. They are going to be re-barreled (possibly stepped to 18inch? but I do like the 17's, tyres are cheap and I can go lower)

But i will be test fitting rears to fronts today to see how it looks poke wise when aired up and if i get clearance when down... shall see how it goes!

yeah I think they would suit the best, I shall be saving for them, however, the lonchamps when super low are growing on me quick, so i might keep them.......

Personally the second ones are really growing on me as the CL9's have a really bulky and direct kind of shape? I can't think of the right word now. But i think those really boldly spoked wheels with large face would suit the car.
the first ones would be perfect

How you are able to avoid being killed by a man eating spider or snake, attacked by a shark, or swallowed by a crocodile that many years is beyond me.
do you know what makes this epically funny? - if you believe me or not is another thing - I know at least one person who has done one or all of those things, ahah my dad used to trap crocodiles for a living, knew an aboriginal bloke who ate snakes and eels regularly and I know a guy who was attacked by both a croc and shark when swimming where he shouldnt have been...

haha but yeah I know TONS of people who say that exact kind of thing - its really not that wild though haha
