        • Bled the clutch today, also made brackets for the gas tank!
My brother welded supports on my hood vents for structure, and acouple things left to do on that! Also got my new tie rods in, and upper balljoints. Then put the drop spindles on. But now I haz no camber and super poke, so more custom front fenders in the works!

          More to come this week!
When in doubt, cut it out...

              • o: to make them flat?

Go for sheet metal or a sort of plastic, fiberglass cracks too easy when a car is that low.

Have you ever considered welding your truck bed and cab to the frame, then weld/attatch the two together to make it similar to a unibody? I have read about people doing it to their 4 runners when installing back seats, or making it an extrarunner.

Yeah the skirts had these indents down the side because it was actually the bottom of the skirts so o just cut them out. And naw it doesn't really bother me that much with the gap

Not sure if your talking to him or me, but the skirts will just be riveted on so the bed can be removed

                      • Had to raise the truck back up so I can drive it once I finish my last couple of mods. Its so high now that I feel that I shouldn't even post any updates until I can get it back to the ground.

                        • Think it was aimed at me o:

With a low truck, I don't really see the use of the bed besides making it look complete, yeah, it has a lot of storage space, but you can't carry much weight anymore without it rubbing, if I remove the back seats of my car I would have as much room. Why would you need to take the bed off anyway, I don't ever need to take the rear end of my car off. I've never owned a truck, so I am probably wrong though.

Get pics of it all raised and stuff

I wonder what these last couple of mods are going to be considering they warrant the truck being raised o:

It wasnt the mods that made me have to raise it up, it was the way the truck was sitting, i couldnt drive it. the leaf spring hangers were on the ground, and the bed flopped around if you just looked at it. It just looks dumb, ill throw up pics sometime of it haha

Air shocks are how you beat the system. They're filled with shop air (schrader valve just like a tire) and they pick the truck up several inches. It's how you remain static but keep your truck a truck. Best 70 I've spent.
