So i collected the car yesterday from rtech finally
safe to say im abit over the moon haha

Back at home by Muhammad Hamidi, on Flickr
there was a few issues along the way hence it took abit longer
First of all the tfsi ecu i had mapped by qpeng had been locked by them so rtech/anyone wouldnt be able to read/change the map on it so a new one had to be sourced. Luckily Niki at rtech was able to get one sent to him
then a load of headache to do with the intake pump not being able to cope. the intake pump needed to be upgraded anyways as the 8L S3 one i had wasnt going to be able to cope.. it just wouldnt hope the correct pressure. So a TTRS intake pump was sourced and sent out to Rtech for them to test that. iirc, that worked fine, but the headache was that it wouldnt actually fit and seal in to where the intale pump is supposed to go.

after many swear words they managed to get it right haha poor guys! when i handed the car in to them obviously they explained it'll take as long as it takes really. as it is with all new things, they may be complicatiosn along the way
But the boys are Rtech really looked after me, kept me informed along the way and went out of the way to clean the car and fix a few dents haha!
as before, i'd recommend them for all your remap needs.
so anyways, here are the power graphs of it now
361bhp@6300rpm
381lbft@3500rpm

So far ive not yet driven it that much in central london... not that i'd probably be able to  but on the drive down from Hinkley to london i had soo much fun. power is really smooth and isnt a pig to drive... well the clutch is a dog, but nothing i can do about that haha
its all in research and development atm, the current fuel pressure regulator is abit whack, so as rtech do work on it over time and improve on it, they'd be able to get a bit more out of the car
ive somehow lost my wheels bolts for teh rotiforms whilst the car was away, so need to buy another set and get the wheels on this week

Thanks for the advise bud. Love what you did with you Jetta. The best in my books by far!!Originally posted by hMd View Postthank you
the v6 lump was very very reliable. never let me down as you are thinking
the only headache you may have is a coilpack dying here and there. but they can be bought new for about £70 iirc
all i used to do is have a spare in the boot and if it ever died, id replace with the spare in the boot and find another spare to keep in the boot.
tbh, i was very happy with it as a daily, packed a cute punch and sounded good too. but i was a bit greedy for more lol
