wth you doing here boy!!Originally posted by TimbOMFG View PostOh hai hamster!

sadly no, although the engine and ancilliarues is all fitted in. theres all the custom downpipe and intercooler piping that we dont/didnt have when i dropped the car off as the only way to find out what parts we'd need is to mock the new engine up in the bay first. so all that is being done now.Originally posted by pjurisprudencia View Postcar back from the swap?!
that, and the fact that the work is being done by a mate of mine, on his restricted driveway after he gets home from work. so no fancy tools or workshop. not even a roof over the car lol

so as some know, where i live, theres no parking in garages and such. its mainly on street parking and you can apply for garages but expect not to hear from them within the first year at least lol
so Noz came to the rescue having sourced a small garage a few mins from my house that belonged to Noz's sisters mates old ex husbands garage
so i was able to store all my engine bits in there for the time being.

we also picked up locally a dirty old bam 6speed gearbox+transfer box cheap and gave it a quick clean

then waited for it to dry... IN THE BLOODY RAIN
as the garage has no power or water access, we have to wash and stuff at my house which is about 10mins drive away. The joys of living in central london!
a quick pic from local meet
