That rear bumpstop is easily overcame. Just unbolt it and shave it down to your liking or buy a shorter one. I think energy suspension makes one. Unless you mean the internal bump stop in the shock. Also some weight jacker rear lowers will get you tucked low. Well it tucks with my balloon ass 245/45's

And I'm going to continue the build thread, negative comments aren't stopping me, lol.
I still have (probably) the lowest static dropped daily-driven fox out there, and I'm going lower in the front next paycheck. I wish I could go lower in the back, but I'm already almost sitting on the bumpstops. I may have found a Cobra independent rear suspension too, my friend may want to swap his Cobra to solid axle if I can talk him into it, lol.

Stop being a hack and own up to the fact that you're hacking. There's no shame in hacking something for a quick fix, or as a temporary thing if money is tight- but don't think that you can fool a large majority of us on here that what you're doing is "right" or "safe" because "you feel it's safe". Look, we all butcher things from time to time, especially on a $500 car. But there are some corners (and control arms) you shouldn't cut. You had so much potential, but then you went the angsty teenager way and started butchering things to get a reaction out of people (see: redneck hood). Not what most of the Stance|Works community is about.
Also, you're still an ignorant dumbass for making the Honda comment. You weren't joking. You were hoping people would stand behind you and laugh, and instead, everyone looks at you like a fool.

I don't know what's more amusing... the OP, the schooling he's not paying attention to, or the whiteknights defending said retard (See: OP).
Either way, this shit needs to be posted to the "Post a pic that made you lol" thread.

Not everyone is going to agree with what your doing to your car or the fact of if it is safe or not (i'm sure we've all had someone tell us what we do to our cars is stupid or dangerous at some point) but i think i've supported my comments on 'design modifications' to the control arms with realistic and commonly excepted engineering concepts. This may not justify some of the general comments on here but i think the OP has tried to defend his choices, tried firing back and, ignore a lot of the discouraging comments.
I know i've taken heat for my posts on here and other forums, but it's par for the course, after all this is internet and when you post you take the chance of getting compliments or criticism . It seems a lot of us are drawn to see the oddities of the stance world for the taste of something different, so it probably doesn't help this car isn't an E30, W201, MKIII, Civic, ect.
OP keep calm and carry on doing your thing all be it unusual and possibly ill-advised. i support your DR. Pepper collection

I'm really not as stupid as I sound here, people just take my shit too seriously... I have good friends that drive hondas, I'm just joking around. All you guys loved my car until the cut control arms and then you went crazy like I destroyed my car, haha. I feel safe with them, and so do my passengers, so it doesn't bother me what someone else thinks, lol. They're not gonna snap, they're cold stamped steel, if anything, they'll just bend.
I'm not retarded, I do shit right, but on a budget. I'm not some dumbass that would bolt his harnesses to the floor, lmao. Yeah I used like 1.5" small tubing to cut cost, but it's sturdy enough that I feel safe with it. If I didn't feel safe with what I was doing, I would not drive my car until I feel safe with it.
Talk shit all you want, I'm not gonna change my car because someone else doesn't like it when I like it.
Yeah, I left the swaybar off because I put it in my garage and forgot to put it back on after I changed my rack and pinion lol. I had it on the ground then I was like ah, f*ck it, lol.

A dangerous car is a ticking bomb for OTHER PEOPLE too, you know. Or do you want to lose people that are precious to you because someone "felt safe"?

And welcome to the internet. If you post it for the world to see, expect criticisms. So the whole "if you don't have something nice to say" kindergarten mindset doesn't apply here.

Dude, I really don't want to h.ate around. But please, on a reasonable level, please inform yourself about "distribution of forces". Then you will see why the thin aftermarket arms are working and yours have a serious lack in structural integrity.
I don't want you to feel bad or something, it is just when something happens (for example a bigger pothole) that arm will bend. Which wouldn't be that bad if you would just roll out. But imagine the control arm bent at 100mph and you have your best friends with you.
Worst case: All your friends die and you survive. Do you really think you can bear the thought that you have caused this because you thought about saving $$$ with a cut control arm?
Please rethink. Thanks.
